2024 has been a milestone year for Mapromec. Celebrating its 30th anniversary, the company closes the year with a strong revenue and a delivery performance highly appreciated by customers. As the year transitions to 2025, Managing Director Tapio Kaunismäki shares his reflections on Mapromec’s achievements and his vision for the future.
In 2024, the demand for Mapromec’s products has remained steady with a slight upward trend. Since 2020, the company has not only recovered to its pre-pandemic figures but also surpassed them while making substantial investments in machinery, facilities, and the safety and well-being of its employees.
“We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our customers for their trust and support. Maintaining our high quality standards remains our priority, and in 2024, we achieved a delivery reliability of 99 %. This result is thanks to our skilled team and the flexibility of our partners and customers”, Kaunismäki says.
Important Investments in 2024
Kaunismäki highlights several key achievements from 2024, including the commissioning of the advanced Okuma GP-36FII x 150 grinding machine, extensive facility renovations, and a heightened focus on communication.
“We’ve made significant strides in strengthening customer relationships, aiming to foster closer partnerships. As part of this effort, we launched annual customer and employee satisfaction surveys to gather invaluable feedback. Based on these insights, we’re implementing targeted improvements to enhance our operations”, Kaunismäki explains.
